BANANA BREAD 

1 cup mashed ripe banana
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs
2-1/4 cup flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 cup walnuts (optional) 

Blend together cream cheese, sugar and butter until well mixed. Stir in banana and eggs until consistency is creamy. Add baking powder, soda and flour and stir in completely. If desired, add nuts. Pour into greased and floured 9x5 inch loaf pan. 

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, remove from pan. 

Healthy Tip: Use wheat flour, fat free cream cheese and omit walnuts.
