Membership in the Mesquite Symphonic Band is open to any person in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex who plays a band instrument. Although there is no audition to join the band, potential members should have sufficient mastery of his or her instrument to be able to perform the music in the bands' repertoire. Members must be dedicated to regular rehearsal and concert attendance. High School students are accepted into the band at the discretion of the director. Membership dues are $50 per year for regular members and $25 per year for students.
The Mesquite Symphonic Band rehearses every Monday night at the Mesquite Arts Center, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm 1527 N. Galloway Ave. Mesquite, 75149. Rehearsal are held from 7:00 pm to 9:00.
